Guess Who’s Coming To “Saturday Night Live”

NBC has announced that the British stand-up comic and actor Russell Brand will host Saturday Night Live for his first time on February 12th. The actor is best known as a fast-talking, hedonistic comic anarchist who appeared in such films as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and it’s spin-off movie, Get Him To The Greek. Russell who is never a stranger to provoking controversy, has been fired or suspended from show business jobs throughout his career so it will be interesting to see if he causes any trouble on the show. Brand is also on the midst of having a big year stepping in as a vocal talent in the animated film Hop and starring in the remake of the Arthur (both film hitting theatres in April). Brand will be joined my musical guest Chris Brown, also making his first appearance on the show.
