Sylvester Stallone claims Rambo is done. Stallone told Empire that another Rambo movie isn’t happening eve after previous talks of a fifth film in the works.
“I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there’ll be any more. I’m about 99% sure,” he told the magazine. “I was going to do it. I said I’d never talk about this, but I feel that with Rocky Balboa, that character came complete circle. He went home. But for Rambo to go on another adventure might be, I think, misinterpreted as a mercenary gesture and not necessary. I don’t want that to happen.”
So where is Stallone headed now? He is working on a director’s cut of Rambo and will add an additional 12 minutes to his latest film in the series. In terms of new films, he states that an Expendables Sequel is in the works. Don’t forget to check out the action packed movie, The Expendables, August 13 starring Stallone, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis and the Governator himself.
